Kara DioGuardi Falls Into Puddle Of Mudd

Songwriter Kara DioGuardi has been working as a producer on the forthcoming Puddle Of Mudd.

DioGuardi co-wrote the Puddle of Mudd song 'Faith' and then went to the studio with her fellow writers Brian Howes and Wes Scantlin to also work behind the desk on the recording.

The Puddle of Mudd album is under some mystery after being announced earlier this year as 'Living On Borrowed Time' and given a July 30, 2007 release date.

That date came and went and now the title 'Famous' has been put forward as the album title. (The title song has now been released as a single).

Although the album was due last week, and is listed by allmusic.com with a tracklisting, the track 'Faith' is not yet listed on the record.

The hold-up may be because of the late addition of the new song by hitmaker DioGuardi.

DioGuardi is currently one of the world's most successful songwriters.

She is the name behind hits by Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill, Pink, The Veronicas, Christina Aguilera, Santana, Gwen Stefani, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Hialry Duff, Jewel, Nick Lachey, Ashlee Simpson, Anastacia, Jesse McCartney, Natasha Beddingfield, Jessica Simpson, Delta Goodrem, Lindsay Lohan, Kylie Minogue, Clay Aiken, Marc Anthony, Paris Hilton, Ricky Martin and Laura Pausini.

Kara has also written the title song on the upcoming Celine Dion album 'Taking Chances' and is up for a Latin Grammy Award for her song 'Bella Tracion' recorded by Belinda.

Also coming soon is the song 'Baby Love' on Nicole Scherzinger's solo debut, the song 'Something That I Already Know' for the forthcoming Backstreet Boys album, and two songs 'Ooh Baby' and 'Heaven' and the next Britney Spears record.
