The Rock Revolution has a new name....

While most of you in America were out and about Friday night around 11pm, I was at Revolution in Ft.Lauderdale at one of the BEST rock shows I think I have ever seen!! With the release of their NEW CD "Famous" last Tuesday, Puddle Of Mudd did what I came to see... They ROCKED!!! If you have never had the opportunity to witness Rock N Roll in it's fullest form... then you need to get your ass to a Puddle Of Mudd concert! Why? Because they are probably one of the few bands left to save Rock N Roll as we know it...and mind you, Saliva was the opening act for these guys. Wes Scantlin (singer), with his seering lyrics, hot guitar licks and AWESOME stage presence.. gave everyone who came to see a rock show just that!!! Did I mention, his great wit and sense of humor? This guy and his band know EXACTLY what they are doing... They are breathing life into what I once thought was a dead genre of music... I have become rather jaded and disappointed after seeing many rock bands of this caliber in concert only to find out that they have NO IDEA about what Rock N Roll really is! These guys bring the fun, party and great music back, for every rock fan to revel in! As for Saliva.... Well, without being to harsh....Saliva played what I thought at best was a decent set! If you saw Saliva 4 years ago when they were out opening for KISS & Aerosmith you got to see an ass kickin' Josey Scott bringing houses down EVERY night! It just felt a little lack luster from what I am used to seeing from Josey..Overall they were decent...BUT if you are looking to see a REAL ROCK SHOW then look no further than Puddle Of Mudd!
