PUDDLE OF MUDD: Going to Iraq posted on Aug/04/2004

Puddle of Mudd have enlisted to go to Iraq. The band is currently on a two-week break and will then go back on tour with Nickelback until September 5th. After that, it's off to Iraq to perform for the men and women of the U-S military. The exact date and location is being kept under wraps for now. Bassist Doug Ardito tells us the U-S-O asked them this week if they'd like to go and they said yes. Frontman Wes Scantlin says, "You know, those people are down there and they're like working their butts off and doing their thing, so we're gonna go down and jam for them." Scantlin says he's calling it "the secured-base tour."
