Now this is the way to experience this
band…Live!!! Although I own both of their albums and love them equally,
I have never had the opportunity to see them perform live and I must say,
I have missed out. The band is very tight, and drummer Greg Upchurch is
phenomenal behind the kit, both visually and musically! Singer/guitarist
Wes Scanlon is a dead ringer for the late Kurt Cobain and even sounds like
the man to the point of being simply eerie! Just look at his stance and
the way he approaches the microphone when he sings, all of this being made
possible by multiple camera shots and killer close-up footage. The audio
is equally as good too, capturing every single note just like the album.
The guys put on an impressive show! As a bonus, you get a band interview
and also a special studio recorded acoustic set of them doing “Think”,
“Blurry”, “Drift And Die” and “Away From Me”. Filmed live at
San Diego’s famous Key Club, Striking That Familiar Chord
should have fans of the band screaming for a live album soon! Very
well-done and Highly Recommended!!! In stores now or available at online
retailers like WWW.AMAZON.COM. |
