Acoustic
Performance
-
3/28/08
Cadillac
Ranch
My
friend
Shona
(chefona),
(who
won
the
tickets
to
this
show...yay!)
and
I
arrived
a
bit
early
to
scope
out
the
restaurant.
It
was
a
really
cool
joint
with
an
outside
patio
and
bar.
The
inside
had
a
lot
of
guitars
hanging
on
the
walls,
and
the
ceiling
was
covered
with
license
plates.
There
were
regular
tables
surrounded
by
booths
and
a
small
stage
up
front.
While
we
were
enjoying
a
beverage
at
the
outside
bar,
we
spotted
the
guys
coming
up
the
steps
with
their
guitars,
etc.
That
was
enough
to
get
our
blood
pumping.
Shortly
afterwards,
we
were
allowwed
inside
and
we
made
our
way
to
the
front
table
for
the
best
viewing.
The
guys
were
just
hanging
out
up
there
getting
situated.
It
was
so
awesome
to
be
able
to
just
sit
at
our
table,
sipping
our
beverages....aka...Bud
Lights...lol...and
enjoy
the
view.
Wes
was
in
a
pretty
joking
mood
and
I
found
that
I
was
able
to
chat
with
him
across
the
room
a
bit.
I
told
him
I
was
putting
Psycho
on
the
wildcard
list
for
the
VH1
Top
20
countdown
everyday,
and
I
told
him
how
awesome
I
thought
Karen,
(POMuddRockOn
from
the
POM
site
and
the
Fan
Page)
was
at
keeping
us
informed
on
all
that
is
POM.
At
that
time,
Shona
went
up
and
asked
Wes
if
he
would
sign
her
jeans
that
she
brought
along
for
her
memorabilia
collection,
and
he
very
sweetly
obliged
her.
They
did
a
sound
check
and
then
went
off
the
stage
to
grab
a
bite
to
eat.
I
would
have
to
say
that
Wes
was
the
most
chatty
and
he
and
Ryan
seemed
to
interact
with
each
other
the
most
with
a
light
heartedness
about
them.
Doug
and
Christian
were
sitting
next
to
one
another,
and
were
a
little
more
serious.
They
didn't
speak
much
to
the
crowd
during
the
show,
but
afterwards,
sat
at
a
table
and
chatted
with
everyone
who
went
through
the
line...More
on
that
later.
I
had
the
best
time
during
the
set,
because
as
I
was
singing
along,
I
kept
making
eye
contact
with
Wes,
who
was
making
faces
and
smiling
and
I
felt
that
I
better
not
mess
up
the
lyrics
I
was
quietly
singing
or
he
would
catch
me....believe
me,
it
was
hard
to
concentrate!...LOL.
I'm
telling
you,
that
acoustic
show
rocked.
They
really
got
into
the
songs,
considering
that
they
were
sitting
down.
Try
not
to
kill
me...but
I
don't
want
to
second
guess
my
memory
for
the
set
list.
I
believe
it
to
have
been
very
similar
to
the
3/8/08
interview
at
100.5
KATT
studio
one,
(the
link
is
on
the
Fan
Page)
Afterwards,
we
mosied
over
to
the
table
where
the
guys
were
sitting
and
I
asked
if
Wes
would
take
a
pic.
Shona
took
one
of
me.....(I
don't
know
what
I
was
thinking
by
leaning
down
so
far
next
to
him...I
look
like
I'm
on
the
floor...lol)
and
I
took
one
of
Shona
and
Wes,
(which
of
course,
turned
out
great!)
I
spent
so
much
time
setting
up
the
picture
taking
that
I
was
shooed
away
from
the
table
when
I
got
to
the
other
guys...Geez!
At
least
Shona
got
all
of
them
to
sign
her
jeans.
All
in
all.....is
was
a
wonderful
experience.
I
am
so
thankful
that
Shona
was
so
lucky
to
win.....we
tried
so
hard
at
the
contest,
I
can't
even
believe
it!
I
really
love
that
the
guys
are
so
grounded
and
yet
so
talented
that
I
would
have
expected
them
to
be
not
as
accessible.
My
thanks
to
them
for
putting
on
a
great
show
and
for
even
playing
such
a
small
venue
for
us
to
enjoy.

Concert Review by Kelsey
POM
Concert,
Tempe
Music
Festival
3/28/08
Shona
and
I
arrived
at
4:30
when
the
gate
was
to
be
opened.
There
was
a
bit
of
a
line
already.
When
we
made
it
inside,
we
were
amazed
at
the
amount
of
vendors
of
all
kinds
at
the
festival.
It
was
a
really
happening
place...lots
of
excitement.
We
went
to
scope
out
the
VIP
section
and
saw
that
people
had
already
booked
it
to
the
front
of
the
stage.
Well,
we
had
about
4
hours
before
POM
came
on
and
with
all
the
other
bands
that
were
going
to
play
first,
we
decided
not
to
sweat
it
and
just
be
there
in
time
for
the
show.
(There
were
so
many
young
My
Chemical
Romance
fans,
that
we
knew
we'd
never
get
up
front
anyway.)
we
cruised
around
and
had
a
beer
and
some
food
and
watched
some
of
the
other
bands,
and
then
FINALLY
it
was
time
for
POM.
Personally
I
think
they
rocked!
Yes,
Wes
was
in
a
silly
mood
and
seemed
to
have
fun
watching
the
audience
follow
his
every
command,
but
I
was
just
having
fun
with
the
whole
thing
and
it
only
made
me
laugh.
And
speaking
of
laughing....yes,
he
did
mess
up
a
bit
on
a
song
and
made
a
joke
out
of
it,
but
Shona
and
I
didn't
take
offense
or
think
how
unprofessional....we
just
realized
that
he
was
human....
I
guess
that
given
a
certain
mood,
and
how
much
dough
you
just
plunked
down,
I
can
see
that
it
might
perturb
you
a
bit.
(Ok,
the
fart
joke
too....lol)
But
at
the
time,
I
didn't
take
offense
to
any
of
it....(and
I
hate
fart
jokes!
:)
)
I
thoroughly
enjoyed
the
set
and
only
regretted
that
we
weren't
right
up
front
like
we
usually
are.
Well,
there's
always
NEXT
time....
I
hope
that
everyone
can
get
a
chance
to
see
this
band
live,
and
I
am
so
happy
to
say
that
having
been
at
the
acoustic
show
earlier
and
getting
a
chance
to
see
how
down
to
earth
these
awesome
performers
are,
that
I
would
pay
to
see
them
over
and
over
again....anytime.
(Ok,
that
might
put
me
in
the
poor-house....oh
yeah,
and
then
there
would
be
that
impending
divorce...lol)
but
other
than
those
things...I
will
continue
to
support
this
band
to
the
best
of
my
ability.
POM
Rocks!!
Kelsey
Concert review by Shona/Chefona
First
off
it
was
nice
to
see
the
guys
again.
They
were
in
good
moods
and
seemed
to
have
fun,
which
is
really
good
to
see.
I
have
to
say
I
don't
agree
with
the
negative
post
that
was
pasted
up
here,
but
each
to
their
own
view.
But
from
my
view
POM
was
rocking.
I
even
liked
that
they
made
some
"mistakes"
in
some
of
the
songs.
It
shows
people
are
human
and
it
shows
that
this
is
not
just
music
but
an
art
and
sometimes
art
does
not
always
come
out
the
way
you
want
it
to.
KEEP
ROCKIN!
We
had
such
a
treat
by
watching
them
play
an
acoustic
show
at
Cadillac
Ranch.
It
was
awesome!!!
I
was
so
glad
we
were
able
to
see
that
and
talked
to
the
guys!
It
was
just
amazing!
They
were
so
lax
and
casual,
and
they
joked
around
and
they
looked
in
our
eye
almost
the
whole
time!
Wes
is
very
silly,
but
we
like
that!!!
After
that
we
were
off
to
the
Music
fest
and
it
was
a
little
slow
at
first,
however
a
few
of
the
local
bands
around
here,
one
named
Vayden
was
actually
very
good.
so
we
were
able
to
fill
our
time
while
waiting
for
POM
to
come
on.
We
had
VIP
tix
which
was
not
band
but
we
were
not
really
positioned
well
to
see
the
guys
and
such,
but
Kelsey
and
I
rocked
out
anyway!
I
thought
the
show
was
pretty
good.
The
music
was
good
i
thought,
not
as
good
when
they
play
in
their
own
concert,
but
good.
I
will
take
what
I
can
get!
Wes
was
being
silly
pretty
much
the
whole
night
and
that
was
cool
with
me.
Overall
we
had
fun!
I
cant
wait
to
rock
out
again
soon!
